Christmas Letter, 2003
We plan to start 2004 without a
house. We are not homeless, but we will be houseless. We simply don't plan
to own a house for as long as the Lord allows. We want to travel in our
motor home and have adopted the philosophy "Home Is Where You Park It."
This past year we lived nine months on the road and fell in love with the
freedom traveling provides.
We spent eight weeks in Whiting, New Jersey at America's Keswick this past
summer. We loved meeting people from all over the country and enjoyed the
privilege of meeting and working with the men in the Colony of Mercy, a
wonderful program of addiction recovery. We plan to return to Keswick next
summer and many summers to come.
Marilyn's greatest joy was getting to see her Uncle Fred and Aunt Belle
and numerous cousins she had not seen in nearly forty years. We also
managed to visit friends in nearly every state across the country. We put
our mailing list in zip code order and checked the map and our mailing
list to see who we would visit next. So if you didn't get a visit this
year, get ready! Your turn will be coming soon!
Since we arrived back in Redlands on November 9, we have been busy sorting
out our stuff and deciding what we would give, keep, sell, or throw out.
What a job! We recently had a yard sale. What an experience. Our house is
in escrow and we plan to be out of our house by January 3; then we will
spend a month in Morro Bay and enjoy a marvelous view of the ocean.
If you have an e-mail address but have not been receiving our monthly

you.
