THE HEAVILIN HERALD
JUNE, 2007

We left the Kansas area on May 29. We were able to celebrate Caleb’s birthday, Mother’s Day and Nathan’s high school graduation while we were there. We also were able to spend a day with our Redland’s pastor and his wife, Lowell and Shirley Linden. They were in Kansas City to attend the wedding of Shirley’s niece.
We took a “vacation” and drove our little car to Abilene, Kansas to visit the Eisenhower Museum and we also visited Truman’s home in Independence, MO. On the way to Abilene we stopped in Manhattan, Kansas to visit our granddaughter Kate. We were able to take Kate and her friend Kasey out to lunch. Kate just finished her second year as a student at Manhattan Christian and Kansas State University.
We are currently in Indianapolis to visit family and friends and for Marilyn to see her primary care doctor. So far we have managed to see Marilyn’s brother, but we haven’t been able to catch up with Glen’s family just yet. Glen did drive to Richmond, Indiana to see his mom who is in the hospital with pneumonia. We would appreciate your prayers on her behalf. She is 90 and Glen’s dad will be 93 on Friday. They are still living on their own in an apartment in Richmond.
Marilyn’s brother invited her to speak last Sunday at the ‘home church’ he has started in his inner city neighborhood. The church is in a house very similar to Walt’s, and it is going extremely well. We were both impressed with how natural the entire setting seemed to be for Walt. Please pray for Walt as he has some physical concerns right now.
We are planning to fly to Rocklin, CA, June 7 for our grandson Christian’s high school graduation on Friday, June 8.
It is our plan to leave this area on June 14 to drive to Gastonia, NC to visit our friends John and Rose Stanley, but we realize our plans are always subject to change. We hope to arrive at America’s Keswick before the end of June.
We appreciate your prayers for us and trust you will continue to pray for our health and our safety.

In Him,
