 HE IS RISEN, INDEED

HAPPY EASTER, EVERYONE!

For the first time, we have moved to another RV park here in Morro Bay so that we can stay in Morro Bay for the Easter celebration.

Marilyn says Easter is her favorite religious holiday because without the Resurrection none of the other religious holidays would have any purpose or significance. She is reminded of Tony Campollo’s message, “It’s Friday, but Sunday’s Coming!”

Well, my friends, Sunday has come, and it has made all of the difference…We have a future and a hope because Easter has come! We now are in the middle of HOLY WEEK. This Thursday is Maundy Thursday and we will attend the service. Glen will sing in the choir.

Randy and Lauren

We enjoyed a visit from Lauren and Randy Briggs a few weeks ago. We visited the elephant seals, the Monarch butterflies, and the Mission at San Luis Obispo. And we also ate at some of our favorite restaurants.

We are plotting our trip for the summer. We plan to see Glacier Park, Yellowstone, Yosemite as well as Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monument. We will only be seeing one new park, Glacier, but we plan to see friends along the way. Since our trip is ending early, we have added on a visit to Indiana as well. Then we plan to rent an apartment in Kansas to be near Matt.

We sent out an e-mail note this past week that Marilyn’s sister-in-law Karen is now in remission. Thank you to all who prayed for her. We are grateful for the extra days God has given her.

Matt’s family will be visiting Europe and England this month. Please pray for safety for them as they travel. Also, our son Matt has been laid off from his job. Please pray that God will guide as Matt looks for another job.

Physically, Marilyn is doing much better regarding her pain level. She is still moving slow, but with much less pain.

Please continue to pray for our health and safety as we travel this summer.

In Him,

Glen and Marilyn
